Since 1994, New Day has offered both in home support and respite services to residents of Denver, Douglas, Arapahoe, and Elbert counties. We provide companionship, meal preparation, and assistance with personal care from 3 to 24 hours a day, 365 days a year - including weekends, vacations and emergency respite care. In addition, we offer two on-site programs - the Sunlight Day Program and the Explorers Program. Both programs provide opportunities to participate in activities such as exercise, cooking and nutrition, academic programs, computer skills, arts and crafts, music therapy, job training, and community service projects.
At New Day, our goals are to:
Prevent premature placement in an institution
Preserve an aging parent or spouses' independence, dignity and enthusiam
Enable a child or adult to remain at home or with family
Allow parents of a sick child to devote time to others in the family
Promote home safety and security
Give peace of mind whenever a caregiver must be away
Enable caregivers to take a well-deserved break
