Our adult day program offers plans tailored to individual needs, preferences, and each family's unique circumstances. Enrollment is limited to ensure that each participant receives both individual as well as small group instruction to achieve their goals. NEW! Classroom Page!
Our activities include:
Cooking & NutritionClasses: Every other Friday, program participants attend cooking classes at St. Matthew’s in Parker, where simple meal preparation is the focus. In the past, we have learned to prepare meals such as jambalaya, enchiladas, and Italian chicken pasta.
Group Outings: Our group outings take program participants to area cultural and recreational facilities, such as the Parker Library, Denver Zoo, Colorado History Museum, O’Brien Park, and more.
Life Skills Training: Our life skills courses teach basic personal living skills using typical, everyday situations that the program participants would encounter in real-life.
Arts & Crafts: From drawing to pottery, our arts and crafts classes offer participants a variety of ways to express their creativity. Arts and Crafts are offered once a week at both on and off-site locations.
Music Therapy: Every Monday we are fortunate to have a music therapist come to New Day to conduct classes for our program participants
